The Oakley Court is a privately owned Victorian Gothic house set amidst landscaped gardens and lawns that wander gently down to the banks of the River Thames. Built in 1859 the Court was originally built for the High Sheriff of Berkshire before being home to the French Resistance during World War II and the setting for over 200 films since 1960. They are licensed to conduct civil ceremonies which will allow you to have the stress free option of holding the whole event within the court. With a wealth of experience in arranging weddings, their wedding planners and dedicated staff on the day will provide the icing on your cake, with spectacular attention to detail. They can cater for civil ceremonies for up to 120 people and wedding breakfasts for up 180 in the Windsor Suite but are equally adept to catering for smaller, more intimate occasions. They are also happy to discuss larger events being held within their Walled Garden where marquees for up to 400 guests can be erected. Wedding suite options, menus and wine can all be tailor made to your preference - the choice is yours. We have the flexibility to incorporate everything you desire to make your perfect wedding day.
